1. Sign In with the Correct Account
- Open the file link.
- Click your profile in the top right.
- Verify you're signed into your work account.
- If not, sign out and sign in with the correct account.
2. Request Access
- Click the file link.
- Click Request access (usually on the warning page).
- Enter your reason for access.
- Click Send Request.
- Wait for the file owner to approve.
3. Ask the Owner to Share
Contact the person who shared the file and ask them to:
- Resend the sharing invitation to your work email.
- Check the file permissions include your email.
Fix Issues in OneDrive
Check Your Permissions
- Go to onedrive.com.
- Navigate to the file.
- Right‑click → Manage access.
- See who has access.
If You're the Owner
- Right‑click the file → Manage access.
