1. Verify Your Sign‑In
- Go to sharepoint.com.
- Ensure you're signed in with your work account.
- If you’re signed in with the wrong account, click your profile → Sign out, then sign in with the correct account.
2. Check Site URL
- Confirm you have the correct site address.
- Typical format:
https://yoursite.sharepoint.com/sites/sitename. - If unsure, ask the site owner for the correct link.
3. Check Microsoft 365 Service health
- Visit the Microsoft 365 Service health portal.
- Look for any incidents affecting SharePoint.
If you continue to experience sign‑in problems, clear any cached Office 365 credentials in Windows Credential Manager (Control Panel → User Accounts → Credential Manager → Windows Credentials → remove entries for MicrosoftOffice16 or similar).
Common Access Issues
"Access Denied" Error

Clear Browser Cache
